Tiniko Johnson brings over 10 years of educational experience to her new role as Administrative Intern at Caroline Middle School. She proudly served as a business teacher, administrative aide, department leader, and PBIS analyst with Henrico County Public Schools. Tiniko’s additional experience as a facilitator and assistant director of a non-profit child development center and tutoring program has contributed to her career in education. Some professional highlights include first-year teacher of the year, “YAY of the Day” recipient for outstanding achievements, and Henrico Citizen Top 20 Teacher of the Year. As Ms. Johnson embarks on this new journey with CCPS, her goal is to provide a culturally responsive educational experience that supports all students’ development of academic, social, and employable skills.
Ms. Johnson holds a master’s degree in education and business administration and an endorsement in Administration and Supervision PK-12 from Virginia State University where she was inducted as a Wallace Fellow. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a doctorate in leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is extremely excited about this transition to CCPS and is ready to show her Eagle Pride! Ms. Johnson replaces Mrs. Melissa Frye who was named CHS Career and technical education Assistant Principal.
