Caroline County Public Schools would like to announce that Ms. Michelle Darby has been named as Special Education Coordinator. Ms. Darby has worked as an educator for 25 years, serving as a special education teacher, department chair, administrative aide and for the past six years as a Coordinator of Family and Student Services and Homebound Instruction.
Ms. Darby earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education and Masters of Education from Virginia State University.
Ms. Darby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience into the role of Special Education Coordinator. She is replacing Ms. Michelle Gonzalez who was previously appointed to her new role as Pre-School Instructional Coordinator. Please join Caroline County Public Schools in welcoming Ms. Darby as she begins her work in January with our school division.
