CCPS is pleased to announce Terry Alexander Jr. as the new Caroline High School Head Football Coach. Mr. Alexander, or “Coach A,” was a two-time All-State running back at Quantico High School and continued his football career at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Following his collegiate career, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps, he was awarded the MVP title for the Gridiron Development League season in 2011.
Mr. Alexander graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies before earning his Master’s Degree in Sports Management, Coaching, and Athletic Administration. He is currently working towards obtaining his Doctorate in Health Sciences.
Mr. Alexander has held several coaching positions including semi-professional football in North Carolina and Head JV Girls Basketball Coach at Chancellor High School. Now retired from the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Alexander teaches Physical Education and is the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Caroline High School. The past year, he served as the Head JV Football Coach for Caroline High School, achieving a successful winning season.
He eagerly anticipates the opportunity to assume the role of Head Football Coach at Caroline County High School. Mr. Alexander replaces Coach Gerard Johnson who has accepted an opportunity to coach for a college team.
