Elexis began her career in education in 2016 as a special education paraprofessional, where she was recognized in 2022 as the County Support Employee of the Year. After completing her Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Germanna Community College, Ms. Clemons obtained her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.

During the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. Clemons  has worked tirelessly to engage students, foster a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success of her students and the Grizzly Pack.  Connecting with families and staff is something that Ms. Clemons is passionate about and believes meeting the needs of her community means being visible, communicating, and providing a safe and welcoming environment.  She can be seen at school events as well as various county events, because she is invested in student success in and outside of the classroom.

Ms. Clemons brings enthusiasm and creativity to the classroom, approaching each day as a new opportunity to positively impact the lives of her students and grow in her craft.
