Each year, the CHS Yearbook staff submits the yearbook they are working on to the Virginia High School League for evaluation. The 2023-2024 staff received a first class, or superior, rating for excelling in areas such as theme, design, layouts, coverage, typography, and photography. 

Winter Sports

The Winter sports season officially begins on Nov. 7. Boys & Girls basketball, wrestling, swimming, and indoor track will hold tryouts Nov. 7 after school. Students must have a valid VHSL sports physical dated after May, 2022.
