Congratulations to the November “CAV of the Month” winners for grades 9–11: Z’Asia Morris (9th), Alyson Parkinson (10th), and Gracelyn Edwards (11th). The students were selected by CHS staff for being accountable for their learning and success and demonstrating respect, responsibility, and honesty in their actions.
Z’Asia is enjoying her freshman year, especially her math class with Mr. Webb and PE/Health with Coach Alexander. She enjoys spending time with her friends at school and seeing Chef Jazz every day at the bus stop.
Alyson is on the volleyball team and is involved in theater. She loves her teachers this year and especially likes her Creative Writing and Anatomy classes. She says that she likes being a student at CHS because of how comfortable everyone makes the school.
Gracelyn keeps busy in sports and is on the track, soccer, and volleyball teams. She is also in the National Honor Society and serves on the Student Council Advisory committee. Her favorite class is Teachers for Tomorrow.
Congratulations to these students for their well-deserved honor.
