Olivia Monahan, daughter of Stephen Monahan, was recently selected as the senior Cav of the Month for Caroline High School for October. Olivia was selected by the teachers and administration of CHS because of her pleasant attitude, academic excellence, and school involvement. Olivia is a member of the CHS Coding Club, and is vice president of the Beta Club. She is an AP Scholar, has been awarded multiple ribbons from the Virginia State Fair’s Youth Creative Arts competitions, attended the summer residential Governor’s School for STEM, earned ribbons in the CHS art show, and even won the Richmond Crime Stoppers poster contest. Outside of school, Olivia is a barista at Italian Station, a coffee shop in downtown Fredericksburg.
After graduation, Olivia plans on attending a four year college in the DC area to major in computer science.
