Kennyse Bishop won First Place in the secondary division at the CCPS Literacy Festival for her project featuring author Annette Taylor Daniels and her book Dreams on Fire. Kaliyah Butler won Third Place in the secondary division for her project featuring author Elizabeth Acevedo and her book The Poet X. Congratulations, girls!
Mikayla Sidam, Sarai Williams, and Alysa Warrington also did a great job with their projects. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival!
