Congratulations to the December “CAV of the Month” winners for grades 9–11: Cody Swanton (9th), Elijah Usher (10th), and Audrey Edwards (11th). The students were selected by CHS staff for demonstrating respect, responsibility, and honesty in their actions in the classroom and through participation in extracurricular activities. In addition to excelling academically, each of the students is involved in school activities. Cody participates in cross country, wrestling, and soccer. Last year, in 8th grade, he played on the CHS JV soccer team. Elijah is class president and is a member of the Debate and Environmental Science clubs. He also serves on the Principal’s Student Advisory Committee. Audrey is a member of the CHS volleyball, track, and soccer teams, in addition to playing travel soccer. She also serves on the Principal’s and Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committees, and is a member of BETA. Congratulations to these students for their well-deserved honor.
