Congratulations to the December “CAV of the Month” winners for grades 9–11: Philip Bucceri (9th) is having a good first year at CHS and is currently on the wrestling team. He enjoys his math and gym classes, and also likes seeing his friends at school. Samarah Gross (10th) enjoys being involved in the student leadership and mentor programs. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Trumbetic and Mr. Honeycutt. She said that she likes being a student at CHS because of “that one teacher who really gets me.” Zoe Shepherd-Lake (11th) keeps busy as a basketball manager and as a member of both the PTSO and the Caroline Leadership Program. She loves her Criminal Justice class with Mr. Honeycutt and her Introduction to Health and Medical Science class with Mrs. Orr. She credits Mrs. Cramer for being her “greatest supporter throughout high school.” The students were selected by CHS staff for being accountable for their learning and success and demonstrating respect, responsibility, and honesty in their actions. Congratulations to these students for their well-deserved honor.
