Mrs. Coleman played a key role in preserving the one-room schoolhouse in Port Royal, a vital piece of history that stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of African American communities.
Her passion for history extends to the stage, where she has brought Harriet Tubman to life through powerful portrayals, ensuring that Tubman’s legacy continues to inspire future generations.
