Congratulations to the January “CAV of the Month” winners for grades 9–11: Rory Twyner (9th) likes the community at CHS and has fun participating in varsity basketball, FFA, and SCA. Her favorite classes are Agriculture, English, and History. Jordyn Wilkerson (10th) enjoys the friendships she has made at school and is part of the varsity softball and volleyball teams. Jordyn says that Sports Medicine is her favorite class and math is her favorite subject. Cassidy Kiger (11th) attends the Commonwealth Governor’s School and keeps busy with Odyssey of the Mind, theater, concert band, and pep band. Her favorite classes at CHS are Art, Band, and History. Cassidy says that her friendships are what she likes most about being a student at CHS. The students were selected by CHS staff for being accountable for their learning and success and demonstrating respect, responsibility, and honesty in their actions. Congratulations to these students for their well-deserved honor.
