Kelly Verity is honored to join the Caroline Middle School administrative team as assistant principal. Ms. Verity began her career in the classroom where she taught for 18 years in various districts throughout the Commonwealth, including Richmond, Tazewell, Henrico, and Hanover. Kelly moved into administration four years ago where she has served as the Student Support Administrator in Henrico County. During this time, Ms. Verity took on multiple leadership roles, such as School Test Coordinator, Gifted Identification Coordinator, Intervention Team Chair, VTSS Coordinator, Eligibility Chair, and 504 Administrator. Kelly is a proud alumna of James Madison University, where she earned both her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and her graduate degree in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Verity is excited to utilize her extensive leadership expertise to enhance students’ academic achievement and nurture a school culture where all Eagles feel a sense of safety and belonging. Kelly replaces Dr. Jamie Harnden who has transitioned as assistant principal to Caroline High School.
