There will be a FAFSA Information presentation on Tuesday, November 14th at 6pm in the Library. Tomika Brown, Director of ECMC’s The College Place, will be providing important information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid that opens in December! The FAFSA is your gateway to financial aid, grants, and loans to help make college affordable. This information session is open to students and parents of students of all grade levels.
After this short information session, the counseling team and Tomika will be available to provide hands-on help to Seniors and their families in creating FSA IDs that will enable them to login to the FAFSA when it opens in December. Both the student and a parent must create one. In order to create an FSA ID, you will need to know your social security numbers (SSN). We will have access to the Library’s computer lab, but you are able to bring your own laptop(s) as well.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Come learn what you need to know about paying for college!
