Rushella Epperson, daughter of John Epperson, was recently selected as the senior Cav of the Month for Caroline High School. Rushella was selected by the teachers and administration of CHS because of her strong academic success, determination, and superior involvement. Rushella is a member of the volleyball team, soccer team, Scholastic Bowl, National Honor Society, DECA, Envirothon, Environmental Club, and also a student at the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School. She has received high academic honors all four years, has been on the Director’s List at CBGS all three years, and earned the Outstanding Presentation Award at VCU for the Annual Science Symposium. Outside of school Rushella is an active member of Wright’s Chapel Methodist Church.
After graduation, Rushella plans to attend Virginia Tech to earn a degree in Animals and Poultry Science while serving with the Virginia Army National Guard.
